About EVA

Founder’s Message & Mission

For more than 30 years, I worked across the global technology industry. In almost every role, the mandate was the same: focus on the largest clients with the biggest IT budgets. That’s where growth was supposed to come from.

Along the way, I kept meeting another group of companies — small and mid-sized businesses facing the same operational challenges as large enterprises, but without the resources, budgets, or teams to take on massive technology transformations. Too often, they were left behind — not because the problems weren’t real, but because the solutions weren’t built for them.

EVA was created to change that.

We exist to help small and mid-sized businesses use modern automation and AI in practical, affordable, and meaningful ways — without forcing them to replace core systems, pause operations, or take on risk they can’t absorb.

These companies are often too large for small IT shops, and too small for enterprise consultancies. Yet they carry all the same pressures: growth, cost control, accuracy, scalability, and resilience through economic cycles. Our mission is to meet them exactly where they are — and help them move forward.

Our work with Dallas based Southwestern Interiors is one example of that mission in action. They were willing to rethink how work got done, and they trusted EVA to help them automate critical processes without disrupting their business. Their story lives in our use cases, and I’m grateful for their belief — and proud of what we delivered together.

Not just a business maven, James has dedicated his time as a volunteer and CFO for several non-profits, infusing his strong sense of community into every venture. His business acumen, shaped over 35 years, is rooted in solid work ethics and has led to many successes, both for him and the teams he’s spearheaded. James’s journey began with the Department of Defense and the IRS, where he honed his skills before establishing his first public accounting firm. After scaling this firm to new heights and transitioning it to a national company, he didn’t stop there. James went on to co-found a tax and consulting practice, followed by a partnership in a multi-state transportation and distribution enterprise. Now, with his third flourishing accounting firm launched in 2006, James offers a wealth of knowledge in tax, consulting, CFO services, litigation support, and system operational reviews. His extensive experience is a cornerstone for EnhanceViaAi advisory board in support of our financial and accounting strategies, ensuring the company’s values and mission are financially sound and community-focused.
